Why I love Aloe Vera 

Aloe vera prickly bitter leaves hold a gooey translucent gel.

The gel is made up of 96% water and some organic compounds, protein which contain 18 of the 20 amino acids found in the body vitamin A, B, C, E and beta carotene. The leaves contain phytochemicals. Aloe vera is extensively used in beauty products, and it can be used in alternative medicine. It’s got antiviral and antibacterial, and healing properties 
For skin

Aloe vera can treat, restore, exfoliate and provide nutrition to the human skin. It is soothing and moisturizing, it can treat wounds, dry skin, minor cuts, and burns.

Aloe vera scrub for skin

Half a cup of fresh aloe vera gel
Cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Mix all the ingredients and use to scrub both face and body. This helps exfoliate and scrub off dead skin, deep cleanse the skin, fade out scars and blemishes
For hair

Aloe vera contains proteolytic enzymes which repair dead skin cells on the scalp.Promotes hair growth, prevents dandruff, acts as a conditioner, and leaves hair smooth and shiny.
Apply fresh aloe gel on your scalp right through the ends of your hair and leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water 

For immune system

Aloe Vera contains a lot of nutrients that can helps boost the immune system when consumed, Aids digestion, eases stomach-ache, helps to balance metabolism, promotes oral health, normal blood circulation and blood pressure

Fresh aloe vera juice tonic

Aloe vera gel
Lemon, lime or orange juice
Cup of cold water
Separate the inner gel from leaf and place it into a blender, add fresh lemon, lime, orange or any citrus flavour, mix equal parts 2-3 tablespoons of each after blending add your mixture to a cup of cold water if the taste is too strong ,I drink this mixture once a week Drink in moderation!
